Repose takes its cues from the parallel nature of the human body’s sitting position and the natural formation of mountain ranges.  These overlapping conditions inspire this set of art benches.

The piece is constructed from recycled plastic lumber, and provides a comfortable sitting surface.  The striations of color evoke the strata of local mountains.
